The impact of Hurricane Sandy deviated large parts of the East Coast. There has been a large outpouring of support and aid extended to assist the victims of one of the worst storms in the history of the US. However, much more support is needed for Muslims who have suffered because of this storm. Masjid Muhammad in Atlantic City, NJ has suffered severe damage that has caused the Masjid to be closed.
